About AquaLocate

Cutting-edge scientific technology for determining the best location for a well site.

Possessing unmatched international experience in the industry.

Our Mission

Our objective is to prevent dry and low yielding water wells by reaching individuals before drilling occurs. Since 2001, AquaLocate Founders have been revolutionizing the well drilling sector with their innovative seismoelectric technology. With the aim to introduce advanced water locating methods and technology on a worldwide scale, simplifying the process of finding water for residential, agricultural, and commercial well projects. By offering comprehensive information on aquifer depth, yield, and thickness prior to drilling, they assist people in effectively planning for successful water wells. Through providing the GF7 system, conducting training programs, and supporting entrepreneurs globally, AquaLocate endeavors to empower individuals and independent GF7 operators across the world in accessing the essential resource of fresh water.

Historical Background and International Impact

A Legacy of Innovation and Global Impact

For over two decades, Ervin Kraemer, the Founder of AquaLocate, has been leading advancements in seismoelectric groundwater survey technology. Specifically the GF6 and has recently modernized and improved the system, now known as the GF7. Our proficiency in forecasting and identifying aquifers stems from analyzing data from more than 70,000 soundings globally. We have provided assistance and/or consulted for well drilling projects in over 30 countries spanning all corners of the world. Numerous operators worldwide have received certification through our comprehensive training program.

State-of-the-art Technology

The GF7 Seismoelectric Exploration System

The GF7 (modified and upgraded GF6) Seismoelectric Exploration System is designed to detect and image resistive liquid beneath layers of rock, sediments, and soils by transmitting a seismic pulse that disrupts the natural ions in the liquid.

Mapping Capabilities

Leveraging the gathered data, we can generate in-depth maps and profiles showcasing aquifer depth, thickness, and lateral variations, thereby improving the accuracy of groundwater resource management.

Depth and Yield

Designed for deep investigations, the GF7 is equipped to explore depths 500 meters (1,600+ feet) or more and the PL24 system can detect resistive liquid zones as deep as 3,000 meters (9,800 feet).

Productivity and Applications

The GF7’s superior signal-to-noise ratio enables the completion of as many as forty plus sounding sites daily by seasoned GF7 operators. Its applications span across civil and environmental engineering projects, agricultural, frac water development, geothermal and geological investigations.

Legacy and Leadership

Guided by Expertise and Experience

Established by Ervin and Christine Kraemer, AquaLocate started as a family-run venture. After years of close collaboration with Dr. R Clarke, Ervin dedicated himself to improving seismoelectric technology, while Christine handled the company’s global marketing efforts.

“As of September 2024, we have finalized the last stages of our next-generation seismoelectric exploration instrument, the GF7. This enhanced technology is designed to be more user-friendly while preserving the effectiveness and reliability of the existing system.”
